Description

We are pleased to announce the birth of our Volador VX3 and VX3.5 inch frames for FPV flying, these frames provide a 5-inch flying experience and are highly compatible and simple in their structural design. Necessary accessories are provided to make assembly easy, convenient, and organized.

The frame is designed with a Squashed X configuration, allowing for maximum control and compatibility with a range of analog and HD systems available in the market. The high-quality TPU components are cleverly designed to facilitate a more integrated and neat installation, ensuring that even pilots with a degree of OCD will be satisfied with the cleanest possible appearance.

We have also designed a silicone damping board plugin specifically for the installation of the DJI O3 Air Unit camera. This will eliminate any possible jello in the DVR and is also compatible with cameras in 19mm/20mm format.

The frame is made of high-strength CNC aluminum alloy components and the highest quality T700 carbon fiber plates, with a super smooth surface and uniformly chamfered edges. Say goodbye to damaged cables and battery straps! And, isn't it just more beautiful to look at?

The frame comes equipped with all the necessary accessories for analog and HD builds, and hardware with Loctite thread-locking adhesive is provided to increase reliability. The tight structural design minimizes resonance.

Amazing kit for starters!

My first drone build of any kind, simple to put together and high quality. Nothing has broken in several hours of flying (and crashing). Lastly I absolutely love that they provide the STL files so I can reprint the TPU parts in whatever colors I want and as I need them, plus many optional extras to fit my needs. Thank you so much!!

Excellent Frame

This frame was amazing to build in and works perfectly for my needs. Everything is of excellent quality. The cut out for the xt30 lead is genius, just put a zip tie on the wires under the top plate and you have a secured XT30 for battery ejects.
My only issue is the instructions. They are super basic. They caused me to break a bolt off in my camera cage as I don't need the gopro mount TPU. It says to use 6mm bolts which are too long without the TPU, so use 4/5mm bolts if you don't use the TPU for a gopro.

Wrong frame size in bag

Ordered a 3.5 inch frame and the bag said 3.5, but the frame inside was a 3 inch instead

Decent with some minor issues.

Pros: Frame is strong, easy to put together, and comfortably fits all components in a 3.5" build.
Cons: Overall quite heavy, does not sufficiently protect the camera.

Overall I am happy with this build. My main issue is that the camera sticks out slightly too far from the frame, making it more prone to getting damaged in crashes. Otherwise this is a great frame!
